Iron Sharpens Iron: Camping Trip
When: Friday, May 6 at 3:00 pm – Saturday, May 7 at approximately 1:00 pm
Who: For men and young men of all ages.
Led by: George Fuller organized this camping trip and will lead bushcraft (primitive camping) training.

Schedule: Times are flexible. Come and go as needed.
Friday, May 6:
- 3:00pm: Welcome 
- 3:15pm: Set up camp 
- 4:00pm: Fire making methods 
- 5:00pm - 6:30pm: Dinner/devotion 
- 6:30pm: Dinner clean up 
- 7:00pm: More time around the campfire 
Saturday, May 7:
- 8:00am +/- Wake up 
- 8:15am - 9:15am: Campfire breakfast/devotion 
- 9:00am: Breakfast clean up 
- 9:30am: Bushcraft cordage methods 
- 10:30am: Baton / Maul making 
- 11:30am: Campfire lunch 
- 12:30pm – 1pm: Closing, lunch clean up, break camp 
Recommended Gear (not exhaustive):
- Hatchet or small ax 
- Bow saw or folding saw 
- Knife (preferably fixed blade, flat spine) 
- Paracord/550 cord (25" minimum) 
- Tent/shelter/tarp 
- Bedding/sleeping bag/pillow 
- Ground barrier, e.g. foam mat, pad 
- Lawn chair 
- Plate/cup and eating/cooking utensils for eating/drinking/cooking 
- Hygiene items 
- Hand towel 
- Flashlight and/or headlamp (battery check) 
- One to two liter pot and/or small pan for campfire cooking 
- Food: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch (potluck style, campfire cooking with open 
- flame and grill surface) 
- Drinks (water, coffee, soda, etc.) 
- Insect repellant
