Spurgeon Baptist Collegiate Fellowship

The Spurgeon Baptist Collegiate Fellowship is a ministry of Jefferson Park Baptist Church that ministers to the students of the University of Virginia. The Fellowship consists of a monthly gathering that addresses topics pertaining to young adulthood. Such topics include courtship and dating, career choices, and living for Christ on the college campus. At Jefferson Park Baptist, the SBCF does not replace but complements involvement with the larger body of believers. Our desire is to incorporate students into the diverse life of the body so that students have an opportunity to learn from young married couples, families, and older members. In this way, we hope to address pertinent topics that concern college students, provide opportunities to build rich relationships with other students, and allow students to fellowship with members of all age-ranges and stages of life.

Fall 2009 meetings will be held on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at 6 pm. The first meeting will be held on Friday, September 11. More info of speakers and topics soon to come.
