Tom Nettles is a graduate of Mississippi College (B.A.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.; Ph.D.). Before coming to Southern in 1997, he taught at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago and Mid-America Seminary in Memphis. Among his most significant works is Baptists and the Bible, co-authored with Russ Bush, which helped define inerrancy as the historic Baptist view of the Bible at the height of the Southern Baptist conservative renewal controversy. Nettles also authored the influential book God of Grace and God of Glory, which uncovered the neglected Reformation roots of the Southern Baptist founders, and Ready for Reformation? Bringing Authentic Reform to Southern Baptist Churches.
Dr. Andrew Davis, Pastor, First Baptist Church, Durham, North Carolina. Davis was converted while a student at M.I.T. in Boston. After a call to ministry, he completed his Master of Divinity degree at Gordon-Conwell Seminary and a doctoral degree in Old Testament at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
