Eighth Annual Evangelical Forum Meeting, September 25-26, 2008
Our Eighth Annual Evangelical Forum meeting which will be held September 25-26, 2009 at Jefferson Park Baptist Church in Charlottesville with Conrad Mbewe and Derek Thomas as speakers, on the theme of "On God's Decrees." We hope you will plan to join us and spread the word to others.
In addition we are planning to have regional meetings in 2009. UPDATED 04/15/09
- A regional meeting is planned for Friday, April 17 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Covenant Reformed Baptist Church in Warrenton, VA. Our meeting will begin at 10:30 am. We will have two 30 minute presentations followed by discussion. We will then go to a local restaurant for lunch and fellowship. The topics and speakers:
- "Inclusive Psalmody: The argument for singing psalms in worship" by Jeff Riddle, Jefferson Park Baptist Church, Charlottesville.
- "Bible or Babble? Questions about contemporary English translations" by Rob Stovall, Providence Baptist Church, Suffolk.
Our host pastor is Steve Clevenger of Covenant Reformed Baptist Church. The church address: 7366 Riley Road Warrenton, VA 20187
