Discipleship on Wednesday Evenings

At JPBC we are trying to take seriously Jesus’ call to “Go and make disciples...” (Matthew 28:19). On Wednesday evenings throughout the year we offer discipleship learning for all ages called “Body Life.” Body Life meets in the Fellowship Hall.

We know today’s families are stretched. Our Wednesday evening schedule gives you a chance to share a meal together (you don't have to cook!) and then participate in age appropriate activities.

We hope your whole family will take advantage of this opportunity!

Bible Drills and Choir for children
- Children’s choirs will learn some musical basics and practice songs to sing occasionally on Sunday mornings
Prayer Meeting and Bible Study for Adults
- Topics for 2008
  - January: The Doctrines of Grace
  - February: Biblical View of Church Government
  - March: Exposition of the Book of Revelation (begins)

Our Wednesday schedule looks like this:

5:15 pm: Simple supper is served

Cost of the meal is $3 for adults and $1 for children under 10

Maximum cost per family is $10

5:50 pm: Community announcements and prayer

6:00 pm:

Nursery opens (birth to age 3)*

Choirs and Bible drills for children (ages 3-grade six)

Bible Study for Youth, Students, and Adults in Fellowship Hall

7:00 pm: Classes end

7:15 pm - 8:30 pm: Adult Choir Rehearsal

*Nursery will be open for children under age 3 from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm each Wednesday.
