The class makes use of a book “JPBC 101: Believing is Belonging” written by Pastor Jeff Riddle. The class covers the following topics:
- How do we know what truth is? The Doctrine of Scripture.
- Who is the Father? The Doctrine of God.
- Who is Jesus? The Doctrine of Jesus Christ.
- Who is the Holy Spirit? The Doctine of the Holy Spirit.
- What is the Church? The Doctrine of the Church.
- What are the Ordinances? The Doctrines of Baptism and The Lord’s Supper.
- What is Church Membership?
- What is Expected of Church Members?
The purpose of the class is to introduce the basic doctrinal beliefs we hold at JPBC and our understanding of church membership. Those who are new to the fellowship at JPBC are encouraged to take this class when considering making a commitment to membership. Copies of the book “JPBC 101: Believing is Belonging” are available from the church office on request.
